Guillermo Tonsmann received a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineeering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria, Peru (1988), a Masters in Engineering from Potcheftstroom University, South Africa (1993), an Honors B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of South Africa (1995) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge (2001). His currents interests include Data Mining, Bioinformatics, Scientific Computing, Image Analysis, Software Development, and Computer Graphics.
